Monir Hossain used to earn his living as a painter. Monir Hossain is the sole earner in a family of 6 members. On August 4, he was shot in the back during an anti-discrimination student movement. He was seriously injured in the shooting. Monir is now under treatment in the hospital. He is unable to sit up straight or talk to anyone due to the bullet injury. He has to lie on one side all day. Monir's family is impoverished. Her elderly parents and other family members can't afford her medical expenses. Monir needs a lot of money for his treatment.
