১২ বছরের তাসনিম হোসেন। ২০১৯ সালে মস্তিষ্কে টিউমার শনাক্ত হয় তার। এরপর অস্ত্রোপচার করা হয় তার মাথায়। সেই রোগ থেকে পুরোপুরি সেরে উঠতে না উঠতেই এবার মস্তিষ্কের ক্যানসার মেটাস্ট্যাটিক নিউরোব্লাস্টোমায় আক্রান্ত হয়েছে মেয়েটি। মস্তিষ্কের এই ক্যানসার নিয়ে পাঁচ মাস ধরে ভারতের চেন্নাইয়ের অ্যাপোলো হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন তাসনিম। তার রোগটি এখন আছে চতুর্থ পর্যায়ে। ঢাকার সাভারের মর্নিং গ্লোরি স্কুল অ্যান্ড কলেজের পঞ্চম শ্রেণির এই শিক্ষার্থীর বাবা এস এম আলমাস হোসেন জানান, ২০১৯ সালে ভারতের চেন্নাইয়ের ভেলোরের ক্রিশ্চিয়ান মেডিকেল কলেজে অস্ত্রোপচারের মাধ্যমে তাঁর মেয়ের মস্তিষ্কের টিউমার অপসারণ করা হয়। এরপর গত বছর সে আবার অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়ে। গত এপ্রিলে মেটাস্ট্যাটিক নিউরোব্লাস্টোমা শনাক্ত হয় তাঁর মেয়ের।
আলমাস হোসেন বলেন, একমাত্র মেয়ের চিকিৎসায় ইতিমধ্যে তাঁর ৩৫ লাখ টাকা খরচ হয়ে গেছে। চিকিৎসকেরা তাসনিমের অস্থিমজ্জা প্রতিস্থাপন (বোনম্যারো ট্রান্সপ্ল্যান্ট) করতে বলেছেন। এ জন্য প্রায় ৩০ লাখ টাকার দরকার। কিন্তু তার পরিবার আর মেয়ের চিকিৎসার খরচ কুলিয়ে উঠতে পারছেন না।
এমন পরিস্থিতিতে তাসনিমের বাবা সমাজের সর্বস্তরের মানুষের কাছে তাসনিমের জন্য সাহায্যের আবেদন জানিয়েছেন। আপনারা সবাই এগিয়ে আসুন তাসমিনের চিকিৎসা সহায়তায়।

Tasneem has been undergoing treatment for brain cancer for five months at Apollo Hospital in Chennai, India. His disease is now in stage four. SM Almas Hossain, the father of this fifth-grade student of Morning Glory School and College, Savar, Dhaka, said that in 2019, his daughter's brain tumor was removed through surgery at the Christian Medical College, Vellore, Chennai, India. Then last year he fell ill again. His daughter was diagnosed with metastatic neuroblastoma last April.
Almas Hossain said that his only daughter's treatment has already cost him 35 lakh taka. Doctors have asked Tasnim to undergo a bone marrow transplant. About 30 lakh rupees are needed for this. However, his family and daughter are unable to meet the medical expenses.
In such a situation, Tasnim's father appealed to people from all walks of life for help for Tasnim. All of you come forward to help Tasmin's treatment.
